Visual is a 2000 Boston Whaler Conquest 295. She started life as a demo boat for Schock Boats in Huntington Beach so she is fully loaded with every option including the tuna tower and electronic controls at both stations.
The Boston Whaler 295 Conquest combines the fishability of a roomy, well-organized cockpit with the cruising comforts and amenities of many express cruisers. Notable features include a molded bow pulpit with roller, 30-gallon lighted livewell, cockpit bolsters, in-deck fish boxes, aft-facing jump seat, cockpit lights, gunnel rod holders, cockpit rod storage racks, built-in tackle drawers, fresh/raw-water washdowns, foldaway stern bench seat, and transom door.
Below deck, the Conquest’s well-finished interior includes a convertible dinette/V-berth forward, midcabin berth aft, teak-and-holly sole, compact galley with fridge and microwave, and a standup head/shower compartment. Like all Whalers, the 295 Conquest is unsinkable.
She is powered by the more powerful twin Yamaha V250 two stroke salt water series fuel injected outboards.
Electronics Include: Furuno Radar, Furuno Fishfinder, Northstar GPS/Chartplotter, Cetrek Autopilot, Icom VHF
Starboard engine was replaced with a rebuilt unit in July 2014. Port engine had the lower end replaced in Dec 2012. New throttle cables in May 2017. New thermostats in August 2018. New shift cables and motors tuned up in June 2020.
